Gourmet Pizza Company (610 S. Armenia Ave) is not your average pizza joint. As part of the regular menu, they offer eight specialty meatless and vegan (plant-based ingredients, using no animal products) pies. They even have vegan pizza breadsticks, and a variety of vegan cookies for the sweet tooth.

We like to promote and work with other businesses in the area who are providing healthy foods. We carry gluten free pizza crusts made by Viitals.
From the article in the Tampa Tribune:
“And business has been growing rapidly for Viitals in its 10-month existence. In September, Viitals won Baking Management Magazine’s product innovation award for its packaged snacks. At the same time, it supplied pizza crust to Hyde Park’s Gourmet Pizza Company and goodies to Cafe Hey in downtown Tampa and Kaleisia Tea near Temple Terrace.”

Gourmet Pizza Company has been a fixture in south Tampa for awhile, catering to the posh SoHo crowd in search of an elevated pizza experience – more than just sauce, cheese and pepperoni slapped on a disc of pizza dough (but they have that too, if that’s what you’re after).
